Above is a photo of George Stinney, Jr., the youngest person ever executed in the United States.  Stinney died in South Carolina's electric chair in 1944 at the age of just 14 years.  He walked to the execution chamber with a Bible under his arm, which was later used as a booster seat in the electric chair as he stood just 5 feet 1 inches tall.  From the time of the murders until his execution, just eighty-one days had passed.

Andrew J. Johnston is certified to act as lead counsel in death penalty cases by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
